The Expo

The Personal Finance Expo (PFE) addresses today's growing need for financial information and resources necessary to assist Hawai`i residents in making informed financial decisions. This event will showcase exhibitors from the public and private sector in a friendly educational environment attracting all ages with the intent of raising their level of personal financial skills.

The expo will feature free seminars (topics include: The Basics; Home & Family; Employment & Entrepreneurship; Retirement; Investing; and Growing Wealth) that will provide a wealth of information to broaden the attendee's awareness about critical financial issues. Interactive learning activities are also planned for children of all ages.

Attendees

A conservative goal of 16,000 is estimated to attend. Increasing concern over the current financial climate will attract a broad spectrum of Hawai`i's residents. Examples include:

• First time home buyers.
• Individuals wanting to learn about investing and savings.
• Young families starting to build their future.
• Future and current entrepreneurs and small business owners.
• Those seeking to build their retirement portfolio.
